Tell Us A Bit About Your Fitness Journey
I began my fitness journey in May 2013 by doing a 12 week transformation with ProFitness Gym in Balbriggan. After 12 weeks I was amazed at how my body shape had changed. My bodyfat dropped from 26% to 17%. I gave myself a goal to reach 14% by Christmas which I did. I then decided to start training to compete and did my first competition in June 2014 NIFMA which I placed 2nd. I went on to do RIBBF Nationals in October which unfortunately didnt get placed. My next comp is NIFMA on Nov 8th. My main goal is to have improved my own physique everytime I step on stage and any placing after that is just a bonus 🙂
In regards to workouts, can you give us an overview of a typical week?
Tues- back & biceps & calfs
Wed- hams & glutes
Thurs- shoulders & triceps
Fri- conditioning &abs
Sunday- shoulders or REST if needed
If you have to pick only 3 exercises, what would they be and why?
Squats…..because I love lifting heavy.
Donkey kicks on the leg curl machine because I love the burn in the glutes and its my favourite body part to train 🙂
Lateral raises again because I love the burn and its another favourite body part to trai .
What’s the best training tip you could give to others?
Always create a mind to muscle connection with the body part you are training.
What are your favourite meals and foods?
I follow a flexible diet plan #iifym which I keep 90% clean everyday with the odd treat that I fit into my macros. My favourite clean food is oats with protein powder. I could eat oats all day lol I also make a fab clean turkey meatloaf!!!!

Omega Fish oils, BCAAS, VITAMIN C
How do you stay motivated?
My results motivate me. I love to see my body shape change. Also the amazing support I get from the people who follow my bog on Facebook keeps me motivated 🙂
